Hi! I'm Catarina Pires, and I recently completed my Master's in Informatics and Computing Engineering at FEUP. My dissertation focused on multimodal search, integrating text and images, exploring the intersections of information systems, artificial intelligence, and computer vision—my key areas of interest. Alongside my academic work, I am an Assistant Researcher at INESC TEC, where I apply my research to innovative applications in the medical field.
I'm passionate about technology, constantly eager to learn new things and embrace new challenges.
Beyond work, I enjoy spending time with friends, watching movies and TV series, and both playing and listening to music as a member of the philharmonic band "Banda da SFV".
